System Administrator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in technical support and system administration, with strong hands-on knowledge of Windows OS, networking, hardware, and IT infrastructure. This role requires troubleshooting expertise across systems, network devices, CCTV, and access control systems, as well as the ability to provide excellent support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
● Install, configure, and deploy PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and business software.
● Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, responding to incidents promptly.
● Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity issues.
● Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
● Monitor systems, servers, network connectivity, backups, and UPS devices.
● Conduct routine system maintenance, updates, and basic patching.
● Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and Google Workspace.
● Support and troubleshoot Google Workspace applications.
● Assist in monitoring and basic support of virtual machines (VMware / Hyper-V).
● Log, track, and manage incidents via a ticketing system.
● Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and asset inventory.
● Troubleshoot and maintain CCTV systems.
● Troubleshoot and maintain access control / door systems.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
● 2–5 years of experience in Technical Support or System Administration.
● Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
● Solid understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
● Experience with Active Directory, Google Workspace, servers, backups, UPS, and basic virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V).
● Familiarity with ticketing systems, IT procedures, and security best practices.
● Strong troubleshooting skills, including CCTV and access control systems.
● Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
● Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or VMware are a plus.
