The GrEEK Campus and Mulberry Tree are proud to co-host Artability, the Middle East’s first platform dedicated to empowering artists with disabilities and promoting inclusive artistic expression. Taking place on 13th and 14th June at The GrEEK Campus Downtown Cairo, this landmark event aims to reshape the regional arts and culture scene through a focus on accessibility and inclusive innovation in the performing arts and film industries.
Artability brings together artists, experts, advocates, NGOs, government institutions, and cultural organizations from Egypt and across the globe — including the USA, Europe, and Africa — to spotlight the talents and voices of persons with disabilities (PwDs) and drive systemic change in the cultural and creative sectors. Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in Egypt, Artability serves as a groundbreaking platform for inclusive expression.
“We are honored to support a summit that aligns so closely with our vision for community impact, innovation, and accessibility,” said Nayra Elberry, Head of Partnerships & Community at WRK+. “Artability is not just an event, it’s a movement toward a more inclusive and representative creative future”.
“We are thrilled to broaden our inclusive impact through Artability, in collaboration with The GrEEK Campus—a truly supportive venue for artistic entrepreneurs and inclusion,” said Diana Gerges, Founder and Managing Director of Mulberry Tree (MT). “Artability marks a new milestone for MT as a social catalyst, driving forward inclusive art and cultural initiatives. It aims to become an annual hub that celebrates and spotlights the outstanding achievements of Artists with Disabilities (AwDs).”

The gathering will feature prominent figures such as Mohamed Abdel Dayem, Founder of Creative People LLC and former Assistant to the Minister of Culture; Dr. Mina El Naggar, Founder and Director of Medfest Egypt; representatives from the Ministries of Culture and Social Solidarity; and international cultural leaders, including Mrs. Cristina Fraile, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Spain.
