At WRK+, we believe that technology isn’t just a tool, it’s a driver of impact, growth, and community. As a company born from the merger of two major players in Egypt’s workspace ecosystem—The GrEEK Campus and MQR—our mission from day one has been clear: to create a seamless, scalable experience for the people who use our spaces every day. And technology sits at the heart of that transformation.
In this post, I want to share how we’ve been using tech not just to fix problems, but to design better systems, unify operations, and shape the future of workspaces.
Merging Systems, Cultures, and Mindsets
The merger of The GrEEK Campus and MQR wasn’t just a structural one, it was also a cultural and operational shift. Bringing together two distinct brands meant bringing together different ways of working, different processes, and different systems.
To meet that challenge, we formed a unified Technology Department. Its purpose was twofold: first, to ensure all 13 locations across both brands were connected with stable, enterprise-grade IT infrastructure; and second, to build digital products that would serve our teams and community more effectively.
What we’ve been building isn’t just software. It’s a foundation for long-term growth.
The WRK+ App: Connecting People and Experiences
One of the most exciting results of this effort has been the launch of the WRK+ App.
Designed for our tenant community and their teams, the app is now a central touchpoint for everything happening across our locations. Whether it’s staying updated with news and events, finding key contacts, or exploring exclusive perks and discounts, the app is about making the WRK+ experience smoother, smarter, and more connected.
But this is only the beginning. Our roadmap for the app includes more advanced features like access control, meeting room reservations, and analytics that help us and our community understand how space is used and how it can be improved.
Building With, Not Just For, People
From the start, our philosophy around technology has been simple: build with people, not just for them.
That means every digital solution we create starts with listening. We sit with teams, understand their workflows, spot the pain points, and then co-design the solution. From there, we move into building, testing, and educating with a feedback loop in place.
What’s Next
Looking ahead, we’re doubling down on our digital vision.
We’re exploring deeper analytics, more intelligent integrations, and ways to bring AI into our internal systems with the goal of making work easier and experiences richer. The WRK+ App will continue to evolve, becoming an even more central part of the day-to-day life of our community.

Leading this transformation has been more than a professional journey; it’s been personal. Over the last two years, I’ve learned how powerful tech can be when it's grounded in empathy, collaboration, and purpose. It taught me that the best systems don’t just solve problems, but they create new possibilities.
